What Most SHRiNKS Can't Tell You

...Some people get locked into depression, anger, shyness, work, alcohol, drugs, promiscuity, homosexuality, self-harm, eating disorders, joining street gangs, etc. in order to "cope" with pain.  Many of us struggle with, or experiment with some of these at some point in our lives.  It's only when they become our "safe zone" or a relational style, that there is a deeper root that needs dealing with.

I've seen a few who have been locked in grief for years because a parent, who abused them, died without any restoration having first taken place.

After working with them through the stages of grief and sharing Scriptural principles regarding the importance of forgiveness and the results of unforgiveness, many have received freedom.
